11x14 professional copy archival print, excellent quality from a hi res scan directly (and color print matched) from an extremely rare original sheet of flash painted by berg from probably the 1910s.
the sheet was professionally printed and produced on archival matte, acid free, thick 110 weight paper using only fade-resistant, archival, pigment-based inks. these sheets are the closest to the original sheets as could be possibly made.
thomas/tom berg was a mysterious tattooer who painted some of the most beautiful (and rarest) tattoo flash ever done.  he was known to have tattooed in and around the san francisco area between 1890s to the 1930s.  he was surrounded by the gritty opium dens, bars, prostitution dens and lawless environment of the legendary barbary coast area in downtown SF and his art reflects this desperate chaos in his unique beautiful way.
